In early 2018, the client approached Timber Frame Technology UK Ltd to fabricate and install his new home which he had designed and engineered himself.
We assisted the client with the following services:
- Completion of the offsite manufacturing of the components.
- Delivery to site.
- Site installation.
As you can see from the photos, the access to the site was rather tight, therefore the panels were lifted in to place by using a large HIAB vehicle.
The intricate design meant that the onsite installation took the team approximately three weeks to complete. You can see from the photos that there was a lot of finer detail to be completed on site, from the curved staircase opening to the exact measured roof light openings.
Just as our team were finishing the installation, the client was busy ensuring that the other trades were ready to start their works, which meant that the project was on target to complete within the timescales set.
